When I was a kid on my way back from North Conway NH taking a scenic route back home near Boston; in the middle of the night with no else on the road. I saw a white light way off in the distance doing unbelievable stunts seemingly. It was like a laser being pointed in the sky and moving all around, it was in no way a spotlight or an individual playing, it resembled a star, and I asked my dad about it and we came up with a name, “Santa Star” and I don’t think I can ever forget that sight.

There are some tell's from the wooden areas in the Mexican forest, some people said that every one's in a will the locas found open portals in the woods showing people inside, sometimes it looks like old bars with people wearing old clothing. Most of the time elder people told those stories.

Well, when you find news paper articles of people barely getting away from or being eaten by basically C.H.U.D. cannibalistic humanoid underground dwellers that live in caves that are not exactly human you start to believe that its not just stories made up to scare children... Ive read and heard all kinds of stories from national parks across America and I'm an adult and they chilled me to my core. Jesus said God doesn't give us a spirit of fear but there's some things in this world that you should stay away from because when you mess with evil it will tear you apart inside and out. I do love these stories though. They do fit the narrative of the Bible and native American tales as well as other tales from across the world with similar sinister things lurking in the jungle and forests. There's still cannibal tribes in various places that still rip people to shreds and eat them and they worship evil beings to this day.

FYI. The AMC Hjghland Center sits where the Crawford House Grand Hotel was. It was there till 1950s. I love the white mtns so much. I traveled the country but there is no place like my lifelong home state of New Hampshire. Feel blessed

I live close to Childersburg and have to travel there at least 4 times a week because the owner of the company that I work for lives on top of the mountain up in 45 acres of land overlooking the Coosa River. I haven’t heard about the goatman here but I need to send this to Kevin. 😂 I don’t believe he will walk out of his place at night anymore

I will never live or go back into the woods again. My family lived on the edge of the PA game lands and I saw and heard so much. I couldn't get out of PA fast enough.

I am native Californian, raised in Santa Cruz, but have been through the Shasta area a number of times, as my paternal grandparents moved up to Oregon after my grandfather retired. It's been a while since my last visit to the Mt. Shasta area, but I can certainly attest that it has a feeling of its own, and it is very beautiful up there.

How bad is it to leave a half blind guy by himself on the hiking trail??? The scariest thing on the trail is another human being. So many people killed by serial killers on hiking trails

I have lived in the Appalachian mountains 90% of my life. I have never heard anything whistle, …..until night before last. (July 3rd 2024) I live rurally in upper NE Tennessee, when I heard the whistle, I looked up to see who it could possibly be?? I was putting my chickens up for the night, and there was no one there, but me and the chickens. So I put the chickens up, and took my happy butt in the house.

I lost myself in those mountains , AND my copy of the plot, 20 years ago - never did find either of them!

I heard it's safe to go by berry bushes, and large rock formations, also hiking by yourself and wearing brightly colored clothes will make things even better. If you happen to find a cave why not just don't bring a satellite phone or compass and anything that will make it unsafe. Good luck and happy trailing! 😊

I spent most of my life hiking and camping in the White Mountains

My family spent summers in the White Mountains (Woodstock) and Laconia (Wolfboro). We were in awe of the natural beauty of these areas. Thank you for the memories.

Wonderful video. Im thankful to be able to see the views of N.H.on utube. My father was born in Nashua&always told me about him riding bikes with freinds on weekends checking out the old logging ghost towns in the woods. He found a St.Christopher medallion in the burned ruins of a house in a logging ghost town&gave it to his mother who cherished it till her passing. My father went in the Army during the cold war&we were stationed in Texas&Germany. We ended out staying in the southwest U.s.&even in my adult life love taking trips to old Native American settlements- mining,ranch,railroad&logging ghost towns in the region aswell. I need to get up to N.H.soon to check out the sites there in the near future&find a few lost relatives if possible. Thanks again for the great video&have a good one.

I live in the Ossipee area and often spend a lot of time up in Conway and the surrounding region. I have heard of most of these but you brought up a couple that I didn't know about. Thank you for a wonderful and informative video. I'm definitely going to go check out the Willey House next time I'm up that way. 😊 *edited to add* Also, I love Betty and Barney Hill. I never did get to meet Barney, but I met Betty numerous times when I was little. My father was the head cook at the Victory Spa restaurant that used to be on State St. in Portsmouth and I pretty much lived in there and played waitress (I was 6-7 years old). Betty would come in frequently and I would always bring her toast and coffee. She would tell me an edited version of what happened to her and Barney all the time. She is the reason why I became so interested in the space, aliens and the paranormal. She was always so sweet and got a kick out of little me in my waitress apron.

Mr. Stockton. I googled your uncle Frank Stockton. This is what I found : The overall story is an allegory for the reader's definitions of justice and fate. The door represents fate, while the tiger represents punishment and even death. The lady represents reward and innocence. The story begs the question of what happens when our systems of justice are tampered with and become unreliable. Mr. Stockton, I felt the answer lay with each individual regarding how they viewed justice ~ just as I found in the Wiki paragraph here (above), I felt that the Lover was a good and kind person and would not die. That good will triumph, so I felt he would out-smart the Princess who knew she could not have him and didn't want anyone else to have him either.

The princess directed her lover to the door on the right. He accepted that choice. He knew her barbarism. He knew she would direct him to the tiger. He also understood she knew this as well. She expected him to open the left door to avoid the tiger. The lover opened the right door where he found the beautiful lady and not the tiger.
